[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Israel, a Middle Eastern country on the Mediterranean Sea, is regarded by Jews, Christians and Muslims as the biblical Holy Land. Its most sacred sites are clustered in Jerusalem’s Old City, including the Temple Mount, Dome of the Rock shrine, Al-Aqsa Mosque and Church of the Holy Sepulchre. #Shalom
Its financial hub, Tel Aviv, is known for crisp white architecture, beaches and wild nightlife.
What is little known, however, is that many Israeli’s suffer from #backpain and #neckpain.
Israelis are not aware that studies say that 1/138 to 1/276 of Israel’s 304 billion US dollars GDP is spent on spine related problems, costing $1 – $2 billion US dollars. Furthermore, the spine affects the physical, emotional and financial well-being of each of Israel’s 8.5 million citizens.
The total area under Israeli law, including East Jerusalem and the Golan Heights, including the military-controlled and partially Palestinian-governed territory of the West Bank, including from the Negev desert in the south to the inland fertile Jezreel Valley, mountain ranges of the Galilee, Carmel and toward the Golan in the north, the Israeli Coastal Plain on the shores of the Mediterranean, and to the east of the central highlands lies the Jordan Rift Valley is home to 8.5 million people.
A recent study by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, and published in Lancet shows that in 1990 and in 2013, the world’s #1 source and burden of disability is low back pain, and the world’s #4 source and burden of disability is neck pain.
Israelis are suffering. They want answers and strategies to stop this permanent suffering.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
